As you can probably tell, I’ve been enamored with writing Readers Theater scripts! This has grown out of necessity. I teach high school English and Public Speaking. I inherited a few old scripts from the last teacher, but they’re so outdated and boring! Some of them offer only cliched, stereotypical female roles. So necessity is the mother of invention!

I've been teaching for over 25 years. I've taught at the elementary level, but I'm currently teaching high school English including AP Language and Composition.

I'm a self-taught artist and I strive to incorporate the arts in my teaching whenever I can. I believe our students need more chances to stretch their creative thinking skills.
One of my current goals is to incorporate a makerspace in my classroom. I want to give students the opportunity to work with their hands in the English classroom.
